On Saturday 28 June 2025, the World Cycling Championships will be held in Ede. The championship for men and women professionals and promises will be held in the municipality of Ede.
Good news for all cycling enthusiasts. The Dutch Lottery National Road Cycling Championships will continue! On Saturday 28 June, the championship for men and women professionals and promises will be held in the municipality of Ede.
The municipality of Ede has hosted professional cycling events before. In 2019, the city hosted the Dutch Cycling Championships, including the time trial for both professionals and promises. In addition, Ede has welcomed stages of the Simac Ladies Tour in recent years, which has further put the municipality on the map as an important location for cycling. This is not only due to the enthusiastic audience, but also to the beautiful surroundings, the Veluwe.

Elite women, 122 km (3 laps)
8.30 – 9.15 am: presentation
9.30 am: start
12.30 pm: finish on the Arnhemseweg
12.45 pm: Ceremony
Elite men: 163 km (4 laps)
12.30 – 13.15 hrs: presentation
1:30 PM: start
5.15 pm: finish on the Arnhemseweg
5:30 PM: Ceremony
