The Marine Band will give a special concert to celebrate 80 years of freedom in the Netherlands.

Organizer Rotaryclub Wageningen also invited the Marine Band of the Royal Netherlands Navy in 2022 and 2023. Everyone agreed at the time: Wow, what an orchestra! And what a varied program, it exceeds all expectations. The Marine Band is happy to come to Wageningen. Of course because this is the city where the liberation of our country was sealed in 1945. Devoting themselves to freedom and democracy is an important goal for the Marine Band. In addition, they are happy to contribute to social initiatives. They do this selflessly, the concert is offered by the Royal Netherlands Navy.

Rotary Club Wageningen wants to organize a nice concert but also has a good cause. This year, Rotary will give a free ticket for every ticket sold to people from special target groups, including De Harmonie in Wageningen, the KBO Overbetuwe senior citizens‘ association, Stichting Vier het Leven and the AZCs in Wageningen. The more tickets are sold, the more they will give away. Music provides relaxation and togetherness. We can use that well in these times.
