Akoesticum: Dans van de ziel

On Sunday 25 May *Dance of the Soul* will be performed in the Akoesticum in Ede. The concert combines Tango Nuevo, choir music and modern dance, with the Dutch premiere of the *Pater Noster Tango* by Judith Brandenburg. Soloist Isabel Pronk.

On Sunday 25 May , Dance of the Soul will be performed in the Akoesticum in Ede. This special concert combines Tango Nuevo with choral music and modern dance. The program includes the Dutch premiere of Pater Noster Tango (2017) by Berlin composer Judith Brandenburg, performed by Projectkoor Gelderland, mezzo-soprano, piano, bandoneon and tango string quintet. The soloist is Isabel Pronk, finalist for Dutch Classical Talent 2024-2025.

Two talented Artez students add modern dance, inspired by the tango. Led by conductor Peter-Paul van Beekum, the whole becomes a theatrical experience.

After the concert, visitors can enjoy a drink. The evening will be festively concluded in Ede, with the drink included in the ticket price. The concert is made possible by contributions from the VSB fund, the Cultural Fund and the municipalities of Ede and Driel. Early bird tickets are available until 1 April.
