Beer and cycling may not seem like a good combination at first glance, but nothing could be further from the truth! On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of café Rad van Wageningen, the Stadsbrouwerij, in collaboration with Toerclub Wageningen (TCW), is organising a great Sunday cycling tour.

Beer and cycling may not seem like a good combination at first glance, but nothing could be further from the truth! On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of café Rad van Wageningen, the brewpub of the Stadsbrouwerij Wageningen, the Stadsbrouwerij, in collaboration with Toerclub Wageningen (TCW), is organising a great Sunday cycling tour that ends with a delicious local beer in the brewpub.

The start is at Toerclub Wageningen, Nude 81 (behind the Gamma) in Wageningen. You are welcome from 9:30 for a free cup of coffee and, after registering on the spot for €8 per person, you can start between 10:00 and 11:00 for a set GPS cycling route of 50 or 80 km through our beautiful region. Both distances have a break about halfway where you will be treated to coffee/tea and cake. We end at café Rad van Wageningen where your effort will be rewarded with a local specialty beer of your choice from the Stadsbrouwerij.

You can cycle at your own pace based on the GPS route or cycle in a group led by a TCW member. Both groups leave at 10:30; the 50 km group with an average of 27 km/h and the 80 km group with an average of 30 km/h.
