A cozy Christmas market on the forecourt of Cannenburch Castle.

The 36th edition of the Vaassen Christmas Market will get you in the holiday spirit. From Friday, December 12th, to Sunday, December 14th, the festively lit forecourt of Cannenburch Castle will be filled with numerous stalls offering all sorts of lovely Christmas items and treats. Various choirs and bands will perform on the central stage, and of course, Santa Claus will be there too. In the late afternoon and early evening, street theater will be on display, including real Christmas angels on stilts. Get a taste of Cannenburch’s Christmas spirit this weekend and marvel at the many decorated rooms, fitting for an 18th-century nobleman’s house, preparing for the holidays. Please note: Cannenburch Castle can only be visited from December 12th to 14th in combination with the Christmas market. A surcharge applies this weekend for Museumkaart holders and GLK donors. Discount tickets are not valid. Purchase your combination ticket for a visit to the castle and Christmas market online in advance. The reserved time slot is only valid for the castle visit. You can visit the Christmas market before or afterward. Admission to the Christmas market without a castle visit is €4.00 per person. Children under 12 are free. Castle opening hours during the Christmas market: Friday 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM, Saturday 11:00 AM – 9:30 PM, Sunday 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Parking: The castle parking lot is closed during the Christmas market. Parking is free throughout Vaassen – there are several parking lots within walking distance.
