Scrum

The band SCRUM is like a powerfolk train that thunders over you. At full speed the 6 men start one song after the other and at the end of the evening everyone is exhausted but satisfied… A powerfolk party like only SCRUM can bring!

For 20 years, SCRUM has been playing at festivals in the Netherlands and far beyond to create a big party with everyone who wants to join in. Sitting still is not an option; there must be jumping and dancing and a moshpit is no exception.

SCRUM draws its inspiration from traditional Irish and Scottish folk music, but combines instruments such as the banjo, fiddle and Scottish bagpipes with powerful punky rhythms and rough guitar sounds. All this, doused with a generous dash of good Scotch whisky, produces the power folk that SCRUM is known for
