In addition to temporary exhibitions, De Casteelse Poort presents two permanent exhibitions. The History of Wageningen covers 5,000 years of local history. Due to its strategically important location, Wageningen experienced a lot of war violence. During the Second World War she was in the line of fire. But peace was also signed here. This period is highlighted in Room 1940-1945, recently renovated and interesting for all ages. Local and regional artists exhibit in the adjacent Koetshuis.
