Beekhuizerzand route

A cycling route of 32 kilometers that takes you from the Transferium Nunspeet along the Beekhuizerzand near Harderwijk.

This route takes you along a breathtakingly beautiful cycle path along the Beekhuizerzand near Harderwijk. The Beekhuizerzand is 200 hectares in size and was transformed from a forest area into a real drifting sand area in 2004. The route there goes through the Leuvenumse Bos, where there is a lot of game such as boars and red deer. On the way back you cycle past the old station at Hulshorst and return to Nunspeet via all kinds of beautiful avenues at Hulshorst.
