The military cycle route ‘Lunteren-Harskamp’ is approximately 36 km long and passes through very different landscapes of the municipality of Ede, each with their own charm. Along the way you will pass 11 information panels with impressive war stories.

Historic houses and unobstructed views
If you start at junction 65, you start at the highest point in Ede, the Paasberg. You drive past Kernhem Estate. The house has a long history and, with its forest and surrounding garden, is iconic in this part of Ede.

Then you cycle via Lunteren to Het Luntersche Buurtbosch, with the De Koepel lookout tower. On the way to Harskamp you will see the Wekeromse Zand on your left, a unique sand drift area with forests and heathlands.

After Harskamp, with the Infantry Shooting Camp, it goes to Otterlo. Very popular with tourists who, for example, find a wonderful resting place at De Waldhoorn (information panel 25). After junction 84 you cycle between the Mossel and Planken Wambuis nature reserves, and you end with views over the vast Eder Heide on the right and the Ginkelse Heide on the left.
