This route is one of the routes specially developed for the 450th anniversary of the municipality of Rheden.
Very accessible
The Velp Attent bike tour has been developed for duo bicycles and (duo) mobility scooters, but is of course also easy to do for other interested parties.
Sights
The route takes you past a wide variety of places in Velp. You start at Biljoen Castle, built in the 16th century. Halfway you will pass the geological museum, the only museum in the municipality of Rheden. You will also pass the Villapark bandstand. This bandstand was founded in 1921 and is only accessible via a swing bridge.
