Go looking for game in the Epe area! This route takes you through beautiful forests and heathlands. The forests are home to boars, deer, deer and foxes.
Get off at the wildlife observation points near junctions 47 and 96 and you might be lucky! Be gentle, eh? Make a stop along the way at Restaurant De Ossenstal where you can have a snack and a drink. Climb the Haelberg lookout tower here and reward yourself with a great view of the Veluwe. Once back at Cannenburch Castle, you can go out and visit the castle, the building and the beautiful park.
Tip: Get out early. You have the best chance of seeing wildlife at sunrise. Then the animals go off to graze in open spaces in nature.
