The 10 marked walking routes of “Apeldoorn te Voet” connect the stations of Apeldoorn with the long-distance walking paths, the regional paths and the clog paths and other local detours in the rural areas of, for example, the municipality of Voorst.
Apeldoorn has quite a few watercourses in and around the city. The first bridge on this route is over the Apeldoorns Canal, the last over the Grote Wetering near Teuge. The waterways are often dug and intended for the drainage of seepage water that surfaces at the edges of the Veluwe.
