Beekweidenpad

The seventh Klompenpad in the municipality of Voorst. The start is at the Village Hall in Voorst, but walkers can also get on at the Voorst-Empe station. The name ‘Beekweidenpad’ comes from an old field name on the cadastral map from before 1832.

In addition to the starting panel with information at the Village Hall in Voorst, you will also find a boarding point at the Voorst-Empe station. The Beekweidenpad is a circular walk of 16 kilometers through forests and a stream valley, over farms and estates in the beautiful countryside of Voorst.

On this walk you will pass the Dorpskerk, the plots of Kloosterboer, past De Adelaar, Beekzicht park, De Kolke, past the burial mounds, ‘t Gagelven, the Zandstraat, De Halmen, the Gemaal, the Voorsterklei, the Kerkepad and the Beelekolk.

The Beekweidenpad can be combined with the Klarenbeeksepad . Transfer points and routes are indicated on the map and in the field.

The route is marked with red nuggets in both directions. Wooden paths are prohibited for dogs due to disturbance of livestock and game.

The Beekweidenpad is not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs. In case of rain, waterproof footwear is recommended. Remember, loose branches can also fall from the trees on Klompen paths during or after a (spring or autumn) storm. Take ticks and oak processionary caterpillars into account during the season.
