Join Gnome Guusje. She takes you on an adventure in her wheelchair!
Walk along the path and see the colorfully painted gnome poles, houses and attributes. Signs along the path tell the inspiring story of Guusje, a gnome with a disability.

Do you want to make this adventure completely complete?
Then pick up a real knapsack for €2 at Theehuis De Roek . The knapsack contains fun assignments and attributes, such as a rope to tie legs together and mirrors to compare yourself with others.

The Tea House is open on Wednesdays from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM and on weekends, Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Theehuis de Roek is also open on public holidays.

Because the tea house is not open every day, the knapsacks can also be picked up from the greenhouse group. This is possible from Monday to Thursday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. On Friday from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.

The Gnome Path De Hartenberg is the very first inclusive gnome path in the Netherlands.
The gnome path, with a length of approximately 900 meters and fully wheelchair accessible, was created in collaboration with approximately 20 clients from ‘s Heeren Loo. They made the colorfully painted gnome posts, houses and attributes that can be found on the route and in the knapsack.

The idea for this inclusive gnome path arose from the desire to bring people with and without disabilities closer together in an accessible way. This special initiative was made possible thanks to a financial contribution from the Municipality of Ede.
