Niebroekerpad

Discover the beautiful countryside of Nijbroek. Walking along farmyards, on inspection paths and historic roads.

Peace, space, characteristic farms and a landscape shaped by human hands determine the atmosphere here. Put on your clogs, backpack and go! Parts of this path can be muddy in wet periods, so put on sturdy shoes or boots and go.
Between March 15 and July 15, the northernmost loop around the pool is not open, you can cut off the loop and continue over the wetering or along the wetering.
Sheep occasionally walk along the inspection paths in some places. To prevent them from escaping through the inspection paths, the owner sometimes stretches a wire across the inspection path or puts up a low fence. You can safely step over this and continue the walk. Please do not move the wire or fence.

Practical information:
You can shorten the route to 5 or 9 km. This is indicated on the map and is marked as such along the way.
The Niebroekerpad is indicated with a yellow marker in the shape of a clog. The route is marked in two directions, so you can walk the route either left or right.
The Niebroekerpad can be combined with the Avervoorderpad and the Woldermarkerpad . Transfer points and routes are indicated on the map and in the field.
