From the station you walk through the De Sysselt forest to the nature friends house De Bosbeek. You pass a number of prehistoric burial mounds. The route follows the stream valley of the winding Molenbeek. The stream was dug to provide energy for water mills. You walk through the woods of the Oranje Nassau’s Oord estate to the Wageningse Berg with beautiful views over the Rhine and the Betuwe. The famous botanical garden ‘Belmonte’ is a beautiful finale. You will see beautiful magnolias and rhododendrons here.
