Plaggenroute-Tijdkijkerpad

A beautiful route through mainly heathland, with various binoculars along the way that provide an image in the past tense. The fun viewers along the way, the proximity of the Stakenberg Playground and the short length make it ideal for walking with children.

The route owes its name ‘Sod Route’ to the fact that people have been busy digging up the heath in a number of places. After sowing, new heather is of course sown, which is clearly visible in some places. The walk is very pleasant and the paths consist mainly of sand, but also of pine needles and forest floor. The route is clearly indicated by a marking with red posts. The daredevils should definitely climb the observation tower at Stakenberg. From here you have a very beautiful view over this beautiful heathland.
