Rondwandeling Wolfheze

Varied walk through the mysterious Wolfhezer forests. Walk past mighty Wodanse oaks, ancient pines, waving heathlands and the Heelsum stream.

This varied walking route takes you past the Wolfhezer heath, an archaeological national monument full of traces of the past. Winding paths and bridges also lead you along and over the Heelsumse Beek, a 400-year-old spring stream on the border of the Veluwe moraine and the floodplains. Various landscapes come together here, such as swampy banks, old forests and heathland with juniper thickets.
