About the Wekeromse Zand
The Wekeromse Zand is known as a very quiet area. This nature reserve consists of forest, heathland and arable land and a unique drifting sand area. That is special, because actively drifting sand hardly occurs in North-Western Europe anymore.
The peace and space of the Valouwe
The Valouwe estate is privately owned. Yet you can walk here to your heart’s content. The area is varied with forests, heaths and fields.
