This means a shorter walking route than the usual eleven kilometers. This measure benefits the safety of walkers. Volunteers from the Gelderland Landscape Management Foundation, initiator of clog paths, adjusted the signage so that the adjusted route already applies. The adjusted route can be found on the website of the clog paths.
At high water levels in the IJssel, the Klompenpad through the floodplains is not passable and one runs parallel to it over the dike. During the breeding season, breeding geese in this part of the floodplains also appear to be a reason to choose the parallel route over the dike.
Practical information:
Blue marking in the shape of a clog. The route is marked in two directions, so you can walk the route either left or right.
The Tuylermarkerpad can be combined with the Woldermarkerpad , Niebroekerpad , Avervoorderpad and the Fliertpad . Transfer points and routes are indicated on the map and in the field.
