Kasteel Cannenburch

Maarten van Rossumplein 4, Vaassen

Family castle on the watery Veluwe. Centuries-old treasures, richly furnished rooms and paintings that come to life…

Cannenburch Castle was built on the ruins of a medieval castle by the Gelderland field marshal Marten van Rossem. The castle is located on the edge of a water-rich park where the height differences between the water features still allow the last remaining mill to turn.

The castle and park can be visited via a (children’s) audio tour in which the original residents take you into the life of a noble family in the 18th century. Wander through richly decorated rooms, discover centuries-old treasures and be surprised by paintings that come to life.

Start the walking route in the Bouwhuis estate shop. In the vaulted cellar of the castle you will find the castle shop and you can enjoy lunch, drinks and dinner at Maarten ‘t Koetshuis.

Magical music evenings you will never forget! Cannenburch Castle will organize campfire concerts from May 30. Also visit this country estate during one of the many activities.
