Dairy Museum: a great outing! Discover the world of milk, housed in the authentic farm Erve IJzerman in Wapenveld.

Discover the world of milk in the Dairy Museum at Erve IJzerman in Wapenveld. In the farm you can still see an old-fashioned stable, box bed and horse mill. You discover and learn everything about milk. The subject of ‘dairy’ is highlighted in the broadest sense. That makes it extra fun and educational! You will go home with new knowledge about the history of milk and current developments surrounding dairy. The beautiful location completes the experience: the Erve IJzerman farm has traditionally been a dairy farm where farming was done in a very traditional way by the last owners: the IJzerman family. There is a lot to do for children. Games in the yard, a private play corner in the cozy museum café and an exciting treasure hunt through the farm. Every school holiday we try to organize new activities for the children.

What is new is that not only history is discussed, but current social developments surrounding dairy are also discussed. Developments that are important for the entire dairy chain from ‘grass to glass’!
