Here you will find art, history and archeology in two beautiful 16th century buildings. The works of Jan Voerman Sr., known for his IJssel views and cloudy skies, and his son Jan Voerman Jr., known for the Verkade albums, form the heart of the museum.
The Voerman City Museum Hattem is located in Hattem in two beautiful old mansions. The museum owes its name to the collection of paintings by Jan Voerman Sr. and Jan Voerman Jr. The collection also includes work by Jo Koster Johannes Bosboom, Adrianus Eversen, Jan van Vuuren, Bé Thoden van Velzen and many others. History and archeology are also widely represented.
