Enjoy the versatile landscape on the IJssel! The IJssel Valley is a major tourist attraction, especially due to the combination of extensive floodplains, the meandering river and the pleasant hustle and bustle of both ships and pleasure boats. With the IJsseldal route you discover the western bank of the river. Cycle over winding dikes, past stately farms and idyllic dike villages. Along the way you pass floodplains with willows, swampy meadows, hawthorn hedges in full bloom, colorful cows and the occasional farm.
