Due to the fantastic location and shallow water of Wolderwijd, Strand Horst is one of the best surfing and kitesurfing locations in the Netherlands. Strand Horst is located in Ermelo and Harderwijk and has several sandy beaches, sunbathing areas and facilities for a day out. You can enjoy delicious refreshments at the various catering points. Strand Horst offers a wide range of activities. There is a boat ramp at Horst-Zuid where you can launch a boat. Strand Horst also has a marina and restaurants, and you can cycle or walk to Zeewolde in Flevoland by ferry.
Recreation area Strand Horst is accessible 365 days a year from sunrise to sunset. Admission to the recreation area is free. If you come by car, you pay parking fees.
