The walk, compiled by Henk Esselink, Peter van der Velde, Gert Schuurman and Rob Nijman, has a length of approximately 8 km, several possible starting places (clearly indicated in the booklet) and takes you past a varied landscape of forest, heath and estate. Points of interest include the buildings of Groevenbeek, roads and streams, fens, burial mounds and even an urn field.
