The Aaltjesdagen are the festival of Harderwijk. Every year on the second weekend of June, the entire city center buzzes with music, fun, and crowds.
Live music, street fair, art market and more
Enjoy live music on multiple stages, stroll along the Harderwijk boulevard at Gelderland’s largest street market, and discover the ‘Tussen Kunst & Kibbeling’ art market on the historic Vischmarkt. There is a separate program for children on Saturday afternoon.

Historic fishing boats lie in the fishing harbour, and throughout the city centre you will find food trucks and stalls with local delicacies. The Aaltjesdagen attract around 50,000 visitors every year — from Harderwijk residents to day-trippers from the entire Veluwe region and far beyond. And admission? Completely free.
