You can enjoy centuries-old gardens around Middachten Castle. In addition to beautiful avenues, stately trees and waving lawns, you will find various ‘green rooms’. It’s wonderful to wander around the gardens and forget about time.
The most beautiful roses can be admired in the rose garden and the borders with perennials are a feast for the eyes. It’s wonderful to wander around the gardens and forget about time. You are very welcome in the castle gardens from June 1 to September 30. Our orangery is also open for a drink and snack. Check the website for current opening hours.
The castle is located in the heart of the gardens. The special interior can be viewed on Sundays in June, July and August and during events such as the Christmas opening. More information about our activities can be found on our website. For example, Middachten organizes a series of summer concerts in the gardens in collaboration with the RIQQ during the summer months.
Garden and/or castle tours are possible on request for groups of 8 people or more.
