A shop with bakery is located in this former farm from the first half of the 19th century. The Bril family has lived in this building and baked bread since at least 1852. The bakery has been passed down from generation to generation.

Bakker Bril is a household name in the region, perhaps even in the country. Anyone who has been there once and smelled the smell of freshly baked gingerbread or raisin bread in the oven will always return. It is the sixth generation of Bril that now bakes there. The first generation baked breads in the ovens fired with branches and wood, knew by feel whether the oven was hot enough and delivered the orders with a cart. The current generation uses modern ovens, but the bakery is still cozy and accessible from the shop. And when there’s no baking, there’s always time for a chat. The way it used to be, it still goes.
