In 1856, the foundation stone for this beautiful white country house was laid by Mrs. Van Marle-Van Wijck. She was the owner of the (Grote) Noordijk estate, which is approximately 400 meters away.
Mrs. Van Marle had the new country house built as a summer home for her daughter and his family. The house is decorated with beautifully detailed wood carvings and neoclassical elements. A romantic landscape park has been created around the house with imposing old trees, historic outbuildings and a sightline to the Grote Noordijk country house. This park and the coach house with terrace are open. The Kleine Noordijk Culture Foundation organizes monthly performances in the coach house.
