A monumental story

The driving force behind Landgoed Klarenbeek is the Krepel family. Jan Richard Krepel is the direct descendant of Johan Richard Krepel, who set up a copper crushing factory here in 1732. In 1870 the Krepel family converted the coppersmith’s shop into a cigar box factory and in 1950 a door factory was added. The Klarenbeek estate was and is a vibrant woodworking and processing company with production halls, a church and a school.
