In Lunteren you can visit De Walderveense Mill: a beautiful, octagonal tower mill built in 1895. The mill burned down in 1911, after which a new mill was built on the old stone substructure. During the restoration, which was completed in 1962, parts of a mill probably originating from Friesland were used.
