The Holocaust memorial in front of the synagogue in Apeldoorn commemorates 592 Apeldoorn Jews who were deported by the German occupier between October 1941 and March 1943 and died in concentration camps. This monument was specifically erected for residents of Apeldoorn and staff of the Jewish psychiatric institution the Apeldoornsche Bosch. Patients of the Apeldoornsche Bosch are commemorated with the monument in the Prinsenpark.
