The memorial wall in the Apeldoornsche Bosch commemorates the approximately 1,300 patients and staff of the Jewish psychiatric institution the Apeldoornsche Bosch who were deported to Westerbork camp on January 22, 1943. Many of them were sent directly to extermination camps. In 2014, plaques with a list of names of 1,258 victims were added to the monument. Eighteen more names were added in 2017.
