The purpose and function of the Nature Center is, among other things, to encourage participation in activities in nature, to have the center function as a starting point for excursions and tours and to provide information about nature-oriented activities.

Individual visitors and groups are made aware of the natural, landscape and cultural values in the area surrounding the center by providing information and education. In this way, the responsible shared use of the Veluwe landscape is stimulated.

Barefoot path

Did you know that the Nature Center also has a self-made barefoot path? This is especially fun for children. Wooden signs indicate where you are walking or standing. This way you can feel the difference per subject. One may feel a bit softer and the other a bit rougher or more irritating: that is what makes it so special. What are you waiting for? Take off your shoes and experience nature under your feet!
