Sheepfolds Ede
The Ginkelse Heide is also home to sheepfolds, a well-known feature in Ede. There are flocks of sheep on both sides of the heath: one on the Ginkelse Heide and one on the Eder Heide. The small flock is housed in the sheepfold on the Ginkelse Heide. The sheepfold is a national monument and is located opposite Restaurant Juffrouw Tok, on Verlengde Arnhemseweg (N224). There are two sheepfolds on the Eder Heide, and the large flock is housed there. The old, small sheepfold is also a national monument.
The cages are located on the edge of the heathland next to an agricultural area and are easily accessible on foot. Parking is available in the parking lot next to Juffrouw Tok.
