Sheepfolds Ede
The Ginkelse Heide also has sheepfolds, a household name in Ede. There is a flock of sheep on both sides of the heath: on the Ginkelse heath and the Eder heath. The small flock is housed in the sheepfold on the Ginkelse heath. The cage is a national monument and is located opposite Restaurant Juffrouw Tok, on the Verlengde Arnhemseweg (N224). There are two cages on the Eder heath and this is where the large herd can be found. The old, small sheepfold is also a national monument.
The cages are located on the edge of the heath next to an agricultural area and are easily accessible on foot. Parking is possible in the parking lot next to Juffrouw Tok.
