Climbing for children

For younger climbers aged 6 and up (recommended age 7), there are no fewer than four different junior routes ranging in height from 2 to 7 meters. You must be at least 1.20m tall to climb. If you get hungry after climbing, you can get small snacks and drinks at the Climbing Forest.

Regular routes

In addition to the junior routes (orange), there are six other regular routes available. These are accessible if you are at least 1.40m tall. In some cases, we recommend climbing with an adult.

More than just climbing

Unique to Klimbos Apeldoorn is the beautiful Veluwe region and its location in Berg & Bos Park. It’s an excellent place for hiking and, for the most stunning view, climb the observation tower. There’s a lovely playground nearby for the little ones. After climbing, it’s also recommended to take a look at the wild boars and deer. Wonderful, of course!
