From here, walk through ancient forests and expansive fields, where you might just encounter Highland cattle or even deer. Need a breather? Just a fifteen-minute walk from the Lappendeken, you’ll find De Carolinahoeve restaurant. A local institution, you can enjoy a cup of coffee and pastry, a healthy lunch, or a refreshing drink at the end of your walk.
🚴 Veluwezoom Drieslag, from high to low in Rheden, is a 13 km cycling route that takes you to the highest and lowest points in Rheden. From 6 meters above sea level to 109 meters above sea level, it’s quite a climb.
From De Steeg, you can cycle the Het Blauwe Goud – Langs de IJssel route in summer. Follow the rivers and discover the cultural and historical heritage.
