If you eat meat, you prefer something of good lineage, from the neighborhood. In the green valley between the Hoge Veluwe and the lower-lying IJssel, the cattle of the Plante family graze.
The farm keeps animals of typical beef breeds, such as MRIJ (Maas-Rhine-IJssel cattle). Animal welfare is optimally ensured, and processing also takes place on a small scale in the region at butcher Ter Weele. At the farm in Klarenbeek, Mandy Plante sells her own beef, as well as sustainably produced pork and chicken from local colleagues. They also sell eggs from an enterprising neighbor girl. Veluwe game from butcher Ter Weele is also available for purchase. The shop is open on Saturdays and on other days by appointment. If you would like to have a nice barbecue, take along a few steaks or lean ground beef for a juicy hamburger! Vleesch van Plante is a Certified Veluwe Regional Product, where animal welfare and nature come first.
