Visitors can walk the entire cross-country course of approximately 3 kilometers and about 30 obstacles. Near the start and finish point, a catering area has been set up where walkers can find food trucks, live music, and children’s activities.
The most spectacular part of the eventing competition, also known as the triathlon of equestrian sports, is the cross-country, where horses and their riders jump over natural obstacles through the wooded surroundings of the estate. Visitors to the Molecaten Ruiterdag can walk the entire cross-country course of approximately three kilometers and about 30 obstacles. Near the start and finish point, a catering area has been set up where walkers can enjoy free food trucks, live music, and children’s activities. The Molecaten Ruiterdag has been organized for decades by riding club Hippisch Hattem and is free to attend. Dogs are also welcome, provided they are kept on a leash. The organization requests a small contribution for parking visitors’ cars on Eliselaan.
