🍽️ In the garden of the Schovenhorst Estate, you’ll find Brasserie Schovenhorst. In this unique forest, you can take a break after your bike ride or during your walk with a delicious lunch or a homemade pastry.
🌳 A fantastic view of Amersfoort and the Veluwe, and a unique climb to the top. Bostoren Schovenhorst is anything but your average lookout tower. Climb the 40-meter-high tower, overcome obstacles, and enjoy the view from the top!
🏠 The Schovenhorst Estate was established in 1848. During the 19th and 20th centuries, the estate developed as a nursery and forestry experiment with conifers. Today, you can visit the estate and explore its five tree gardens. Explore on your own or with a guide who can share stories about the estate.
🚶 There are three hiking trails on the Schovenhorst Estate: Walking on Schovenhorst – Cultural-Historic Route, The Forest Walk , and Walking on the Schovenhorst Estate . There are two 4 km trails and one 8.5 km trail. Each one shows you a different part of the estate.
🅿️ The TOP is located on Nieuwe Prinsenweg. This road is accessible via Garderenseweg, also known as the N797, which runs between Putten and Garderen.
