The hiding camp ‘Pas-Opkamp’, also known as the Hidden Village, was founded during the war years. The initiators were the Bakker family from Nunspeet and the lawyer EH von Baumhauer from Vierhouten. The camp consisted of 9 huts hidden in a very dense forest of young pines. Museum Het Verscholen Dorp reopened as an exhibition on May 4, 2013. The exhibition is housed in the reception of hotel-restaurant De Vossenberg.
