Rosendael 1 — Rozendaal

Over Kasteel & Park Rosendael

A source of entertainment!

Rosendael Castle is an 18th-century castle in the village of Rozendaal, located in the province of Gelderland. The castle has a rich history and is an important cultural heritage site. The castle is surrounded by a beautiful park, which features, among other things, the famous ‘Bedriegertjes’, a water feature that surprises visitors by spraying water unexpectedly.

Visit the castle and enjoy the lived-in atmosphere! Inside the castle, numerous historic rooms can be admired, including the dining room, the bedroom, and the kitchen. The castle also houses a special collection of furniture, paintings, porcelain, and silverware.

A Beleef! map in the park shows you the way and indicates which things you shouldn’t miss. Walk along the barefoot path, admire the garden ornaments, or look for critters in the forest pond. Look for animal tracks, climb the large Tree of Life, and discover the four springs in the park! Download one of the park tours for free and let yourself be naturally surprised by the Bedriegertjes in the summer!

Also take a look in our cozy castle shop and relax and enjoy a delicious cup of coffee, lunch, or drinks in our Orangery or Castle Café De Oranjerie. Check www.oranje-rie.nl for the menu and catering options.

Rosendael Castle & Park is a popular destination and offers various activities throughout the year. On weekends, you can experience the castle yourself, and on weekdays, you can visit the castle on a guided tour!
