Discover the rich nature and history of everything that lives underground, beneath the earth’s surface.
The Museonder provides a surprising view of everything that lives beneath the earth’s surface and what used to live there. In this exhibition it goes deeper and deeper into the ground, eventually ending up in the center of the earth. Take a look underground and discover what lives beneath the earth’s surface.
There is plenty to discover along the way: a complete root system of a 135-year-old tree, stones that tell their story of origin when you lay your hand on them and there is a water laboratory. There are also bones of animals that have been extinct for thousands of years, but that once roamed the area that is now called De Hoge Veluwe National Park.
